Czech Glass buttons have been a favorite of mine for quite some time! So many color and shape choices.
Do you have a special button from a favorite outfit, your mother, grandmother or aunt and you don't know what to do with it? Consider turning it into a piece of jewelry!
Pendants are created by beading around each button - each bail is specific to each button. A leather cord is included with each pendant, but a beaded necklace can be made to match as well.
Czech Glass Buttons
Just a sampling of the Czech glass buttons I have in my collection. Some of these have already been used for other projects, but there are always more to choose from!
Pendants are created using a variety of semi-precious stones, glass or fossils as the focal point. Bead embroidery is used to surround the focal piece and add accents around it. All pendants come with a leather cord.
Bead embroidered pendant created with an Imperial Jasper cabochon. Ultrasuede strap on the back allows a cord or chain.
A uniquely shaped piece of malachite is the focal piece for this pendant.
Fuschite cabochon is the focal for this great pendant - purple and green.
A unique piece of Dendritic Opal allowed me to continue the wave of colors into the bead embroidery surrounding the stone.
Turitella is comprised of fossilized shells. I love the way this stone is cut so that you can see cross-sections of shell.
